Satyadaya

Satyadaya

Previously a Social Worker and senior manager of Social Work services, Satyadaya now lives and works at the London Buddhist Centre where he leads Meditation and Buddhism classes and teaches Mindfulness Based Approaches (MBAs) to people in a range of settings. He has been practising meditation within a Buddhist context since 1995 and he was Ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 2009.

Satyadaya has seen the benefits of adopting a mindfulness-based approach to the issues he has faced in his own life and whilst he has found mindfulness to be of universal benefit he is particularly motivated by the desire to pass on all he has learned to people who struggle to lead a life free from drug and alcohol dependency. At Breathing Space Satyadaya does MBA outreach work as well as teach Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP).
