Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy at Breathing Space

If you've had depression before and are worried it might come back, you could find Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) very helpful. Clinical research has shown that MBCT is one of the most effective ways of preventing relapse into recurrent depression. MBCT is a meditation-based course that helps you become more aware of the habits of thinking that can lead into depression - and teaches you ways to change these habits.

Breathing Space was one of the very first providers of Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in the UK. We provide:

MBCT courses:  Run throughout the year. Eight week courses - once a week for two and a half hours per week. Open to all. Some free places available for people on a low income in London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Course dates and bookings

MBCT retreats: Two day retreats held at our beautiful retreat centre in the Suffolk countryside. Suitable for newcomers or those who have completed an MBCT course.
