Breaking Free from Low Mood and Depression is an evidence-based* 8-week face-to-face course, for those who suffer with low mood and depression.
By using a mindfulness-based approach, participants learn how to meet their low mood and depression with mindfulness. This course is not suitable for those who are in chronic depression. It is suitable for those who wish to manage low mood and also for those who wish to prevent depressive episodes from returning. The course provides techniques for participants to bounce back and sustain positive mental health.
We teach practical tools and a compassionate approach to low mood and depression. We teach a mindfulness model of ‘ABC’, where participants cultivate Awareness; learn how to Be with difficulty; and have the skills to make better Choices in daily life.
Participants report to us after the course that they experience more joy, gratitude, and appreciation. They feel more confident to be with life’s challenges and possess a sense of purpose. This could be you.

Breaking Free from Low Mood and Depression is co-led by two ordained Buddhist teachers, who have regular and intensive meditation and mindfulness practices.
