Mindfulness is the awareness that arises from paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally, to things as they are.

Mindfulness for Health is an 8-week, evidence-based course designed to help people manage chronic or short-term health challenges. Whether you're dealing with a serious condition or a mild health concern, this course is for you.

Using mindfulness techniques, you'll learn practical tools to manage pain and improve your well-being. These simple, easy-to-learn practices can reduce pain, boost confidence, and help you regain control of your life. Many participants report feeling empowered to not just cope, but thrive, despite their health challenges.

The course will give you:

  • 18 hours of face-to-face learning with experienced Buddhist teachers
  • Guidance on building a meditation practice to manage stress and boost positive emotions
  • Weekly course summaries, resources, and recorded guided meditations
  • 22 practical tools to help you manage your health condition
  • Small group check-ins and a supportive, compassionate environment

Research shows that mindfulness can be as effective as painkillers and can boost your body’s natural healing abilities. It also helps alleviate secondary symptoms like fatigue, negative mental states, and overwhelm.
