Mindfulness is the awareness that arises from paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally, to things as they are.
Mindfulness for Stress is an evidence-based* 8-week face-to-face course, based on a Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy approach for those who are suffering with stress, anxiety and overwhelm.
By using a mindfulness-based approach, participants learn how to reduce their levels of stress and anxiety. In many cases, panic attacks can be overcome, or at the very least, managed in daily life. Whether participants experience chronic stress and high levels of anxiety; or are going through a particular stressful event, this is a course which results in positive change. Whatever your experience of stress, you are welcome to attend.
We teach practical tools and a compassionate approach to stress and anxiety. Much of the stress experienced in daily life can be reduced by learning mindfulness tools and understanding responses to stressful situations. Stress levels can increase by acting habitually and reacting on auto-pilot. But responses to challenges in life can be relearnt.
Participants report to us after the course that they have lower stress responses. They experience greater positive mental states in daily life: more joy; confidence, resilience and a sense of purpose. This could be you.
We have helped thousands of people improve the quality of their lives. Participants find that they are not only coping well, but thriving.
