Resilience is the remarkable ability of humans to adapt when faced with adversity. It is an ability that can be learned and developed by anyone. This February, join mindfulness teachers Amalanandi and Satyamanas for an eight-week intensive course in the Breathworks Mindfulness for Stress programme. The course will focus on developing resilience and will take you through the following steps:

THE ABC OF RESILIENCE TRAINING

Awareness. We learn to become more resilient by training our attention. We do this through meditation and mindfulness, enabling us to see our unhelpful tendencies more clearly.

‘Being With’. Next, we cultivate an attitude of acceptance. We meet adversity with courage, and learn to view life's inevitable challenges as opportunities.

Choices. With a stronger foundation, we are then able to take purposeful action to maintain our wellbeing and respond creatively to change.

  • 16 hours of tuition in Resilience Training in a bespoke mindfulness venue.
  • An award winning mindfulness book to keep.
  • Experienced leaders to help guide you.Support from an assigned team member in your weekly home group.
  • A 15 minute mid-course wellbeing 1:1 phone check-in with Breathing Space
  • Weekly formal guided meditations to download, with 7 recordings to keep.
  • Accessible home practice tasks, and a workbook for you to complete each week.
  • Summaries emailed to you after each session.
  • Connection with like-minded people.

Satyamanas

Amalanandi

Amalanandi intertwines mindfulness with education joyfully. Trained by Breathing Space in Schools and Mindfulness in Schools Project, she offers adult courses, mentors teachers, and sparks creativity with art-infused workshops. She leads sessions in both secular and Buddhist contexts.

Amamalanandi is an Accredited Breathworks teacher.
